Sheet piles

Well within the pre-set time frame!

Sheet pile walls are an often used retaining technique. The steel profiles are vibrated, pressed, or driven into the ground. Every sheet pile contains a lock in which another sheet pile can be fitted. This way, an earth- or water-retaining wall is made.

After construction works, the sheet piles can be removed and reused. Soetaert has a stock of more than 10,000 tonnes of sheet piles we rent out for the temporary retaining of construction pits and other constructions.

Properties:

  • Earth- and water-retaining
  • Very stiff, so the wall can resist large pressures
  • Reusable

Application:

Sheet piles can be used permanently and temporarily for different constructions, such as quay walls, construction pits, tunnels, and parking garages.
